The creamy pudding cake is an ideal dessert that will impress you with its moistness and flavor. If you have ever tried cake recipes that were too dry, this recipe will bring you a pleasant change.

  • Dough preparation: Whisk the eggs with the sugar until frothy. Add the flour and baking powder, then mix in the oil and, if necessary, a little water so the batter has the ideal consistency. Pour the batter into a cake pan (square or rectangular) and put it into a preheated oven at 180 °C. Bake for about 20 minutes. After baking, let cool and slice the cake base into two halves.
  • Preparing the pudding cream: On the stove, prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the package (for each packet you need milk and sugar). As soon as the pudding reaches the desired consistency, stir in the melted butter. Mix thoroughly until the butter is completely combined with the pudding.
  • Preparing the chocolate topping: Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. Add the cream and stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
  • Assembling the cake: Spread half of the pudding cream on the bottom layer of the cake base (you can use either vanilla or chocolate). Top with the second layer of the cake base and spread the other half of the pudding cream. Finally, add a layer of the chocolate topping. Let the cake chill in the refrigerator so all the layers come together and set.
