Preparation procedure
- 1. Dough preparation: Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whisk the egg whites with 100 g granulated sugar to stiff peaks. In another bowl, beat the yolks with the remaining 100 g granulated sugar. Gradually add the flour and vanilla sugar, continuing to whisk. Then gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.
- 2. Baking: Grease the baking sheet with butter and dust it with flour. Pour the batter onto the sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for 20–25 minutes, until the batter turns golden. If it's raw inside, extend the baking time by a few minutes.
- 3. Cream preparation: Meanwhile, prepare the cream. Mix 200 ml condensed milk, 400 g powdered milk and 200 ml cream and whip everything until you obtain approximately 800 g of a firmer cream. In another bowl whip 75 ml cream with 3 tablespoons condensed milk and powdered sugar.
- 4. Finishing: After baking, let the cake cool slightly and prick it thoroughly with a fork so the cream soaks in well. Then pour the prepared cream over the cake, cover the sheet with aluminum foil and let the dessert set overnight in the refrigerator.
- 5. Serving: Before serving, cut into cubes and serve with fresh fruit and unsweetened whipped cream. The dessert will be fantastic!
