Preparation procedure

  • We mix the flour with baking powder, salt, lard and eggs.
  • From these ingredients we knead a uniform dough.
  • Add sour cream as needed and knead the dough thoroughly.
  • After kneading, stretch the dough and spread the cracklings over it. Optionally add seasoning.
  • Let the dough chill in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
  • Dust the work surface with flour and roll out the dough, from which we cut out round pagáče.
  • Brush the pagáče with a beaten egg and put them into a preheated oven at approx. 180-200 degrees
  • Bake for about 30 minutes until golden.
