Preparation procedure
- Preparing the batter: Beat all A-ingredients into a smooth batter. Pour the batter onto a baking tray (33×26 cm) lined with baking paper.
- Preparing the filling: Beat the B-ingredients (quark, pudding powder and sugars) until smooth. Gently fold the chopped apples into the mixture.
- Assembling the cake: Carefully spread the quark mixture over the prepared batter. Finally, sprinkle with the streusel, which you prepare by mixing butter, sugar, flour and crushed nuts.
- Baking: Place the tray in a preheated oven and bake at 180°C for about 30–40 minutes, until the surface of the cake is nicely golden.
