This yogurt dough is a great helper for anyone who likes to bake. You can use it for pizza, savory treats, but also sweet cakes or homemade buns. It is easy to prepare, keeps for several days in the fridge and can also be frozen.

Preparation procedure
- Preparing the starter: Pour the lukewarm milk into a bowl and mix it with the sugar and yeast. Let the starter rise (this takes about 10 minutes).
- Preparing the dough: To the prepared starter, add the flour, salt, baking powder, yogurt and eggs. Using a mixer with dough hooks (or by hand) work the ingredients into a smooth and elastic dough. If the dough is too dry, add a little milk. Conversely, if it is too wet, add flour.
- Resting the dough: If you want to use the dough immediately, let it rest for approximately 15–20 minutes. Then you can work with it. If you want to store the dough for later, put it in a bag, squeeze out the air, tie it and place it into a larger bag (in case the dough expands while rising).
- Storage: In the fridge the dough keeps for up to 3–4 days. If you don't use it within this time, you can freeze it – freezing won't change its quality.
