- Preparation of the vegetables: Bring water to a boil in a large pot and add salt. Rinse the cauliflower and broccoli, separate them into florets, and put them to cook. Boil for a maximum of 10 minutes so the vegetables remain crisp. After cooking, drain the water through a sieve and let the vegetables drain well.
- Preparation of the cream mixture: In a bowl, mix the sour cream, egg yolks, salt, and pepper. Whisk well until all the ingredients are combined.
- Assembling the dish: Grease a baking dish with butter or oil and put the cooked broccoli and cauliflower into it. Pour the cream mixture over and grate the hard cheese on top.
- Baking: Place the baking dish into an oven preheated to 200 °C and bake for approximately 15–20 minutes, until the surface is golden and the cheese has melted.
