- Preparing the bananas and whipped cream: Slice the bananas into thin slices. Whip the whipping cream together with the sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Layering the cake: Line the bottom of the cake pan with sponge biscuits, which you should lightly soak in milk beforehand. Spread the first third of the whipped cream over the biscuits. Place a layer of butter cookies over the cream layer, which should also be soaked in milk. Spread another layer of cream over the cookies. Place butter cookies on the second layer of cream again and cover them with the remaining cream.
- Decoration: If you like, melt the chocolate and layer it on top of the cake for an even more delicious appearance and taste.
- Chilling: Place the cake in the refrigerator for 3–4 hours so it firms up well and the flavors meld.
