- I wash the cucumbers in two to three changes of water. As needed. Sometimes, when they are very muddy, I brush them with a small hand brush
- I prepare the jars. Into each jar I put at the bottom dill, a bay leaf, allspice and whole peppercorns, saccharin. I prepare one carrot. We cut it into rounds.
- I also slice the peeled onion.
In a bowl I have a teaspoon of salt, a bay leaf, allspice and pepper and saccharin. - We stack the cucumbers into the jar. Those who like it spicy add a hot pepper.
- I pour 1 deciliter of vinegar and top up with cold water. I close the bottle.
- I sterilize the cucumbers in steam.
- From the point of boiling I cook for 5 minutes. Just enough for the lid to seal.
