Preparation:
- Cover the sea buckthorn berries with sugar or honey and mash them thoroughly.
- Place the resulting mass in a glass container, cover with cheesecloth and leave in a warm place for about 3–4 days to allow the fruit to begin fermenting.
- Then pour in the alcohol, stir and set aside again – this time for at least one month.
- After this time, strain the tincture through a cloth and pour into bottles.
The result is a strong natural remedy that is taken by the teaspoon as an immune booster and prevention against colds.
