Bear paws from Zlatý klas are a great alternative to traditional recipes. They are easy to prepare, hold their shape beautifully, there's no need to grease the molds, and the whole family will fall in love with their taste. In this version part of the flour is replaced by Zlatý klas pudding powder, which makes the paws even more delicate, beautifully crisp and they release from the molds almost by themselves after baking. Preparation is simple and the result will delight children and adults.

Preparation procedure

  • Making the dough Mix the flour, powdered sugar, Zlatý klas and salt in a bowl. Add the egg yolks, softened fat and milk. Work by hand until you have a smooth, non-sticky dough. Let it rest briefly in the fridge while the oven preheats.
  • Shaping Press the dough into dry bear paw molds. There's no need to grease the molds – the dough contains enough fat.
  • Baking Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approximately 10–15 minutes. As soon as the edges start to turn lightly golden, the paws are done. Immediately after baking, turn them out and let them cool.
  • Finishing While still warm, you can coat the paws in powdered sugar. After they have cooled, store them in a tin, where they will soften nicely.
