Preparation procedure

  • Pudding preparation: In a saucepan, mix the milk with the sugar, flour, starch and the egg yolk. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the pudding thickens. Stir in the vanilla sugar, transfer to a bowl, cover with cling film and let cool.
  • Coffee bath: Dissolve the instant coffee in the hot water and let it cool slightly.
  • Whipped cream: Whisk the powdered whipping cream into the cooled pudding and then gradually add the whipping cream until you obtain a fluffy cream.
  • Layering: Briefly dip the BeBe biscuits in the coffee bath and place them side by side in the pan. Cover with a layer of cream and repeat alternating biscuits and cream until the ingredients are used up.
  • Chocolate glaze: Heat the cream, add the broken chocolate and stir until smooth. Pour the hot glaze evenly over the surface of the dessert.
  • Cooling: Cover the dessert and let it set in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (ideally overnight).
