- Soak the gelatin in 100 ml of cold water and let it bloom.
- Grease a baking pan measuring 20 x 30 cm with oil or butter.
- Mix the remaining water with the granulated sugar and place over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves.
- Once the gelatin is ready, transfer it to a small saucepan and dissolve it by heating.
- Add the dissolved gelatin to the sugar syrup and stir. Remove the mixture from the heat and beat with a mixer for about 15 minutes.
- Finally, add the banana essence and mix for another 5 minutes. For a more pronounced yellow color, you can add a few drops of food coloring.
- Pour the mixture into the greased pan and let it set.
- Once the dessert has set, cut into pieces and serve sprinkled with grated chocolate. You can also coat them with chocolate glaze for extra flavor.
