Preparation procedure
- Wash the salad cucumbers and slice them into thin rounds.
- In a bowl, mix with the leek or with the onion.
- In a separate bowl, mix the vinegar, honey, pepper, pressed garlic, salt and dill.
- Pour the mixture over the salad and mix. It tastes best if you chill it in the fridge for a while, but you can also serve the salad immediately.
- You can of course season the salad to your own taste. I prepare it exactly like this!
- Tip: if you don't have garlic, try replacing it with a bit of grated ginger; the salad will have an excellent exotic flavor.
