  • Transfer the mixture to a double boiler and cook, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Take care to prevent lumps from forming.
  • Remove the finished cream from the heat and let it cool completely.
  • Meanwhile, whip the softened butter until fluffy.
  • Combine the butter with the cooled cream and beat thoroughly until a smooth, creamy mixture forms.
  • Optionally, you can stir in white chocolate or fresh fruit.
  • Use the finished cream to fill cakes, pastries, or spread it between two wafers and freeze – you’ll get a great homemade „Russian ice cream“.
