Ingredients: 400 g sour cream (2 tubs); 200 g whipping cream (1 tub); powdered sugar to taste; 250 g granulated sugar; 2 glasses (2 × 200 ml) semi-coarse flour; ½ sachet (6 g) baking powder; ½ glass (100 ml) oil; 1 glass (200 ml) milk; 1 egg; a packet of gelatin according to the instructions; 300–400 g fresh strawberries

Preparing the cream: Whip the whipping cream until stiff, gradually fold in the sour cream and sweeten with powdered sugar. Chill the finished cream.

Base: In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour and baking powder. Add the oil, milk and egg, mix until smooth. Pour onto a greased baking tray and bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C (fan 160 °C) for 20–25 min, until a skewer inserted into the center comes out dry. Let the base cool completely.

Assembling the dessert: Spread the cooled base evenly with the prepared cream. Arrange washed and sliced strawberries on the cream.

Gelatin: Prepare the gelatin according to the instructions on the package and let it slightly set (about 5–10 min). Then carefully pour it over the strawberries so that it covers the entire surface.
