Preparation procedure

  • Dough preparation In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until thick and foamy. Gradually add the water and oil and mix. Finally add the flour mixed with the baking powder. Divide the batter into two parts – add the cocoa to one and mix. Pour the light batter onto a baking tray measuring 23 × 32 cm lined with baking paper and spoon the dark batter on top.
  • Vanilla cream Bring half of the milk to a boil and add the sugar. Mix the pudding powder into the remaining milk and pour the mixture into the boiling milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Spread the still-warm pudding with a ladle over the prepared batter and use a fork to create a lightly marbled pattern. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 °C for approximately 30 minutes. Let cool.
  • Whipped cream layer Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff. Then gently fold in the sour cream. Spread the cream over the cooled sponge.
  • Finishing Pour chocolate glaze over the top or sprinkle with grated chocolate. You can decorate with fresh fruit. Let the dessert chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
