Preparation procedure

  • Vanilla custard From the milk, pudding powder and sugar, cook a thick custard. Let it cool, stirring occasionally.
  • Dough preparation Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until foamy, then gradually add the oil and water. In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking soda and fold it into the liquid mixture. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt into stiff peaks and carefully fold them into the batter.
  • Division and layering Divide the batter into two halves. Stir cocoa into one, leave the other light. Alternately layer the light and dark batter into a pan lined with parchment paper. Spoon the cooled pudding cream over it.
