- Separating the eggs: First separate the yolks from the whites and put the whites in the refrigerator to chill.
- Preparing the chocolate: Meanwhile, break the chocolate into small pieces and let it melt (ideally in a water bath).
- Whipping the egg whites: Take the egg whites out of the fridge and whip them into stiff peaks.
- Combining the chocolate with the yolks: Stir the yolks into the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly.
- Adding the egg whites: First add one third of the whipped egg whites to the chocolate mixture and gently fold.
- Finishing the batter: Add the remaining egg whites and carefully mix again until a smooth batter forms.
- Preparing for baking: Pour the mixture into a pan lined with baking paper.
- Baking: Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 30 minutes.
- Done: After baking, take out the cake, let it cool and serve. Enjoy!
