You make it with only three basic ingredients and in no time you’ll have at your fingertips an excellent caramel foam that will perfectly complement your favorite sweets – whether it’s cakes, pancakes, muffins, or hot drinks.

Preparation procedure

  • Caramel preparation: Pour the sugar into a pan and let it melt over low heat without touching or stirring it. Once the sugar has melted and starts to take on a golden color, add the butter.
  • Combining the ingredients: Stir until the butter has completely melted and combined with the caramel. Then add the liquid cream and continue stirring until all the ingredients come together and the mixture starts to have a glossy appearance (about 2 minutes).
  • Chilling the caramel: Pour the caramel into a bowl and let it cool in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. After this time, remove it and whip it with an electric mixer for about 15 seconds.
  • Freezing and whipping: Now place the caramel in the freezer for 10 minutes. Then remove it again and whip it into a smooth and fluffy foam.
  • Done! Your whipped caramel is now ready to use! You can decorate your desserts with it, add it to hot drinks, or use it as a delicious complement to muffins and cakes.
