- Put the yeast, 2 tablespoons of lukewarm water, the sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour into a bowl and let the starter rise.
- Mix it with the other ingredients and work into a smooth, uniform dough, which you leave to rise in a warm place for about 40 minutes.
- Divide the risen dough into 15-16 smaller pieces.
- Roll each piece into an elongated oval and shape it into a crescent roll.
- Transfer the rolls to a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with a mixture of beaten egg and milk.
- Place in an oven preheated to 150 ℃ and bake for 20 minutes (depending on your oven's power).
